‘The Forever Purge’ is out now on Blu-Ray
The Purge: Election Year was a pretty good horror movie. We saw someone stand up and say this awful event needs to come to an end. They fought a tough battle but in the end something amazing happened. The First Purge showed audiences how this yearly event first began. Now this event takes a dark turn on The Forever Purge. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is my thoughts on it.

The old rules of the Purge are broken as members of an underground movement, no longer satisfied with the annual night of anarchy and murder, decide to overtake America through an unending campaign of mayhem and massacre. No one is safe. On the morning after the Purge, a masked gang of killers attacks a wealthy Texas ranching family and their workers. Exposed by daylight, the two groups are forced to band together and fight back as the country spirals into chaos and the United States begins to disintegrate around them.
This was an okay horror movie. It has a strong start but is loses steam as the story moves along. The middle is alright and still has some good moments. Where the film really gets bad is towards the end. It becomes obvious what is going to happen next long before it occurs. The ending was not awful but at the same time it could have been better. Some people will like this sequel but it won’t be for everyone.
